About The Art House

The Art House began after a dream and years of Meagan Vucovich Robichaux, owner and instructor, holding summer art camps for kids at her home in Vestavia Hills, Alabama. Meagan was born in Montgomery, Alabama where she attended The Montgomery Academy and excelled in art. During Meagan’s childhood, her mother, artist Diddy Vucovich, owned The Art Factory in Montgomery for decades where she instructed art to hundreds of children. Meagan began leading art classes at the age of 12 at The Art Factory. Her mother’s studio is where Meagan’s passion for creating and instructing art began.

Meagan was accepted and completed an early college program at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she studied Interior Architecture and Art History. She went on to earn a B.A. in Arts Management and Art History at The College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. While in Charleston, she studied under plein air artists Hilarie Lambert and Karen Hewitt Hagan as well as serving roles in various Charleston art galleries and the Gibbs Museum of Art.

Meagan incorporates a modern twist to art history and classical techniques into her lessons while encouraging her students to have fun. The Art House offers art lessons, art parties & art camps.

Meagan and her husband reside in Mountain Brook with their 4 young children.
